- Governance Questions: Concerns have arisen about the legitimacy of recent bylaw amendments and the proper authorization by the Board of Directors. We are committed to exploring these issues thoroughly.
- Corporate vs. Community Identity: Clarification is needed regarding the use of the corporate name "Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, Ltd." versus the commonly used name "Atlanta Masjid." Understanding this distinction is key to resolving governance challenges.
- Relationship with Mohammed Schools of Atlanta Ltd.: The connection between the Masjid and Mohammed Schools of Atlanta Ltd., is under review to ensure proper oversight and alignment with our community’s values.
- Unexplained Entities: Four other entities registered with the Georgia Secretary of State that include the name "Atlanta Masjid" and share the same business address as Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, Ltd. The purpose and affiliation of these entities—1) Atlanta Masjid Community Foundation, Inc., 2) Atlanta Masjid Community Holdings, LLC, 3) Atlanta Masjid Community Holdings II, LLC, and 4) Atlanta Masjid Community Holdings III, LLC—are unclear. The community is seeking transparency and documentation to understand how these entities are connected to Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam, Ltd.
